As Leadership Office Coordinator you will work closely with Five Executives, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the executives' schedules and activities. Your primary duties will include managing travel arrangements, coordinating calendars, preparing presentation materials for external meetings, and facilitating logistics for various engagements. 

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Coordination

  • Arrange complex domestic and international travel itineraries for the executives, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and visa processing when necessary.

Logistics Management

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Program Implementation and Delivery

Senior Manager – Leadership Office

As Senior Manager - Leadership office , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of organisational strategies and the alignment of team objectives with overarching goals. Product Manager

Career Quest is an immersive and experiential career exploration journey for adolescents with the objective to provide exposure to different career journeys and in the process bring their attention to how gender and stereotypes affect choices and how to navigate them.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible to develop and grow Career Quest or such products into a socially viable public product with learner and diversity at the heart of its development.

You will engage with a team of Development professionals, Education technology educators and learners from diverse backgrounds that would feed into the nuances of this product development. You will also be closely working with the Schools and Technology teams at Quest to align with the product principles of the organization. 

Its an opportunity to build a socially useful digital product that drives career decision making in young people.

Your responsibilities may also include close work with other education technology projects in the Schools ecosystem, while the first key project will be the Career Game.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of the product features from user journey to product release in a larger ecosystem.
  • Create an operational plan for the product and define timelines.
  • Manage vendors and pilot roll outs as well as coordination with externals.
  • Capture User experience and document them in sharable formats.
  • Research on similar products / games and bring design insights.

Program Manager – Collaboratives

As Program Manager we are looking for strategic leaders who will lead the interventions and help integrate them in the Karnataka education system. The manager will be responsible for ensuring implementation of all project deliverables. We are looking for a person with prior experience of having worked in Education programmes. The role will also lead efforts to develop content for delivery with students and ensure the implementation of curriculum plans in model schools for the year.

The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with non-profits, funders, policy makers and govt. stakeholders at the state and district level.

One of the key areas of QUEST’s work is schools investing in educators- teachers and school heads led approach where the main focus is on capacity building of the teachers via the Master Coach modules and School heads via the Change leaders modules and handholding them to complete the program and implement the learning in the school, conduct the state recognition process and develop a community of practice of teachers for self initiated learning and innovations.

Role and Responsibilities:

 

Program and Budget Management 

  • Develop the state plan and ensure its operationalisation and achievement of goals with quality
  • Ensure donor reporting happens as per timelines and with quality – capturing project learning and insights and making the report a tool for reflection for the donors 
  • Streamline the planning, implementation and review process with the partners
  • Ensure they have an annual plan in place with a budget forecast 
  • Ensure the 45 day reviews are in happening as per plan and are documented and followed up on – ensure that the systems change lens is applied to the reviews 
  • Ensure financial forecasting is in place for each project and the spent plan is as per forecast (no underspent/overspent) with maximum focus on the key constituency when it comes to prioritizing spent decisions
  • Anchor the financial management to ensure audit compliance, review of the monthly project spent report to check for consistency and discrepancies 
  • Ensure state reviews are streamlined with the thematic leads and other relevant stakeholders and become spaces for reflections and deepening the synergy between org, program and state strategy, ensure data and qualitative insights are being used to drive reflection and deepen the strategic thinking 
  • Anchor the content development of the HM change leaders, ensuring suitability from state context
  • Monthly field visits to interact with the learners, teachers, headmasters and district officials to gauge the effectiveness of the program from the stakeholder lens 

 

Advocacy, Strategy and Execution

  • Have strategic consultation with stakeholders in the Govt., CSOs and funder community
  • Represent organisation and participate in various forum and task forces formed by the Govt, CSOs and funders 
  • Develop concept notes, proposals and presentations on the existing/new strategies.
  • Support development of CSO strategy for engagement in the program implementation
  • Develop and sustain the relationship with the Government Education departments and other concerned departments 
  • Drive the advocacy agenda for the state as per the program plan – relationship building with the states education departments and facilitating engagement with the relevant stakeholders to drive adoption of program approaches and policy level change, every 6 months JPRMS are conducted and become strategic spaces for multi stakeholder dialogue – including the donor and the govt officials 
  • Work closely with the communication team to ensure that the project updates find a mention in the social media, have a social media calendar
  • Ensure that key staff at the state and district  Government have a clear understanding of and regular involvement in the programs 
  • Identify opportunities for joint activities with the  government staff (e.g. shared workshops etc.).
  • Share quarterly reports with the relevant  Government officials 

 

Systems and Processes 

  • Ensure that the team has a good understanding of the monitoring tools and dashboards
  • Ensure that the data coming in from monitoring tools is reviewed jointly by the team and is integrated in reviews with partners and within the team 
  • Ensure that the quality of monitoring data coming in is of good quality and leading to insights and reflections on the program strategy 
  • Ensure that all information related to the visits and achievements in the programme are recorded in the monitoring tools. 
  • Ensure that the team is looking at the data and decisions are being made accordingly
  • Prepare and facilitate the monthly review of the state plan with the team and with the extended team from central office
  • Ensure that the monthly planning and review meetings at the district level are organized and represented with program updates.

Associate Manager – Content, Youth Program

  • Create quality guidelines and design documents to enable effective development of content aligned to larger learning experience standards of Quest Alliance.

Training Officer

We are looking for an experienced person who has worked in the area of training and content earlier with a focus on government school systems. The role of the Training Officer is going to be critical in supporting the overall content development, review and the capacity building strategy in the region. Having good command and understanding of working in Ed-Tech programmes will be beneficials, the major task of the person will be to develop training & content for students to build computational skills including coding and design learning experiences for students and teachers.

Role and Responsibilities:

Training Delivery, Coordination, and Management  

  • Lead & support the state anchors on Training & Capacity building of internal & external teams for all states of a cascade program with blended learning approach.
  • Creating training designs, facilitating training of trainers, attending trainings, giving feedback on trainings and other program related aspects and so on.
  • Operational oversight of all capacity building aspects of different projects across the states: MCT, Skills build such as conduction of virtual webinars, weekly/fortnightly catch ups with the teams.
  • Coordinating with the Ed-tech team on the smooth implementation of MCT courses across the states.

  • Coordinating with the Communication team in design posters or videos or app related content to support the implementation of the program. 
  • Making regular monitoring visits to interact with the team, oversee school implementation, and ensure program objectives are met.
  • Collect feedback on Toolkits (Quest App and Skill build) from state teams & teachers periodically.

Reporting:

  • Support the Monitoring and Evaluation team in design tools, coordinating to conduct research in different states to assess the impact. 
  • Facilitate timely reviews with state teams about the program implementation.
  • Collect and prepare monthly or quarterly reports on the training insights and recommendations from all the states, as per the requirement.

 

Required skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum 2-4 years of work experience, in capacity building related roles
  • Hands-on experience with working on coding/ computational  skills/ STEM and life and career skills for school students
  • Prior experience working in government schools
  • Prior experience of facilitating training and workshops for the govt. Teachers and officials at district/state level
  • Willingness to learn and influence prevalent practices in education ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of the National Education Policy and State Curriculum Framework

We are looking for an experienced person who has worked in the area of education, particularly in the govt schooling space. The role has a huge scope of ensuring implementation of the programme in the state through the teachers of the govt school. The personnel should have and proven skills to lead and design training and development of any new content especially in the areas of 21st century skills and STEM. Having good command and understanding of working in Ed-Tech programmes will be beneficials.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and ensure timely execution of all training and capacity building initiatives planned for the internal team, teachers, students and other stakeholders at the district level.
  • Lead and ensure development of content according to the strategy for the programme. In the initial month major focus will be given to the computational thinking and coding skills modules for the students
  • Ensure development of content strategy and its timely implementation
  • Drive experimentation and innovation strategies within the team of program associates working in each district.
  • Ensure that the workplan is being adhered to and implementation of the programme is being done according to the commitments
  • Ensure that the field visit plans are made and adhered to. 
  • Ensure that the team is looking at the data and decisions are being made accordingly
  • Ensure that the monthly planning and review meetings at the district level is being organized, the Programme Associates are prepared for them and supported to facilitate them
  • Identify the CSOs working in each of the district, find synergies and collaborate to work together
  • Support in identifying and building partnerships with non-profits, social entrepreneurs to strengthen the Ed-Tech programme in the state.
  • Conduct policy research in education technology and develop papers for advocacy
  • Serve as a role model at all times  
  • Coordinate training and other capacity-building initiatives for staff as required 
  • Support, mentor and coach the team of Program Associate as part of their professional development and help them to be highly effective in their work. 
  • Lead the recruitment , induction and onboarding  of new member for your team you manage 
  • Ensure that the team works together to share learning and to exchange skills
  • Ensure that any incidents of child abuse, child marriage or any other violation of child rights are reported to the program lead
